Realigning Booking.com’s Vision with a Leadership Roadshow
The Problem
Following a merger and leadership changes, Booking.com’s Manchester colleagues faced uncertainty. They needed clarity on the refreshed vision, direction, and objectives of the business. The challenge was to create an engaging experience that introduced the new leadership and aligned staff with the revised strategy.
The Idea
We curated a two-week, non-travelling roadshow led by the Leadership Team. The aim was to:
Clearly communicate the revised business strategy
Build trust and camaraderie between leadership and teams
Create a participatory, hands-on experience that helped employees internalise the vision
The event design went beyond presentations, focusing on engagement and dialogue to ensure strategic goals were understood and embraced.
The Outcome
98% of attendees reported an improved understanding of the business objectives
Internal broadsheet newspaper circulated to reinforce messaging and capture feedback
Strengthened bonds between leadership and staff
Success in Manchester led to the roadshow being replicated for teams in Barcelona
