Payzone

Consolidating Payzone’s Digital Presence on Drupal

.

The Problem

Payzone, a leading multi-channel service provider backed by AIB and Fiserv, had multiple products spread across separate websites. This fragmented their digital presence, making it hard to communicate offerings clearly to different markets.

They needed a single site that could:

  • Consolidate multiple domains

  • Express the refreshed brand

  • Deliver a seamless user experience

  • Be built on a secure, scalable, future-proof CMS

.

The Idea

We began with discovery, aligning stakeholders and drawing on existing brand, market and competitor research. Collaboration at this stage set the tone for the project and ensured all parties agreed on goals and ways of working.

Next came UX research. Using analytics (GA and Hotjar), desk research, tree testing, and best-in-class exemplars, we identified user pain points and opportunities. This informed a new information architecture and content strategy.

Design followed insight. Wireframes and UI designs were created for both desktop and mobile, supported by a design pattern library to ensure consistency. Accessibility was a core focus throughout.

Finally, we developed the new site on Drupal. This gave Payzone an intuitive, secure CMS with location-based functionality, enabling customers to find merchants easily. Rigorous QA processes ensured reliability and compliance.

The Outcome

  • A consolidated, user-centred Payzone website

  • Clearer communication of multiple services in one place

  • Robust Drupal CMS foundation, secure and scalable

  • Improved navigation, accessibility and customer experience

Payzone now has a single digital home aligned with its long-term strategy.
