Reviving Quod’s Annual Client Party with Digital and Creative Refresh

The Problem
Quod, an independent planning and development consultancy, had a long-standing tradition of annual client parties that were once industry highlights. But in recent years, attendance had declined.
For 2020, the event was set for the Natural History Museum. Despite COVID-19 uncertainty and wider economic challenges, Quod wanted to proceed, seeing it as a chance to reconnect and bring joy to clients. The challenge was to refresh the event identity, improve invitations, and boost attendance.

The Idea
We created a full event identity and digital presence to reignite engagement:
Crafted a new event name and visual theme
Designed a dedicated event website with RSVP functionality, FAQs, and iCalendar download
Integrated invitations with Mailchimp, supported by direct personalised outreach to key clients
Focused on seamless user experience, ensuring invitees could easily RSVP and access event information
Our approach emphasised timely approvals, close coordination with Quod, and a creative theme worthy of their prestigious venue.

The Outcome
390+ RSVPs in less than 24 hours
Attendance exceeded venue capacity
The most successful and best-attended Quod client party to date
Excellent feedback from key stakeholders
Revitalised the event’s reputation as a must-attend industry gathering
