Universities UK (UUK) are the collective voice of 142 universities across the UK and help their research and teaching have positive impact locally, nationally, and globally.
The strategy
To improve efficiency within the organisation when managing system access, resolving authentication issues experienced by several user profiles and reduce the complexity of the underlying infrastructure.
A significant part of the programme was understanding the complexities of the infrastructure, which relied heavily of Microsoft services such as SharePoint and Azure Active Directory.
The impact
The output of the project meant that we could provide the team at UUK with a more streamlined and integrated process to data management. Saving the time of administrators by removing the requirement to update content in multiple locations as was required in the original platform.
By removing the reliance on Microsoft services, we were able to apply UUK’s branding to the web application. The result was a document repository which better reflected UUK’s brand with a closer integrated, more user-friendly experience.
